One of the BBC’s most popular programmes, Countryfile airs weekly on BBC One and reports on rural, agricultural and environmental issues in the UK.

Launched in 1988, Countryfile replaced the long-running show Farming with the aim of covering a broader view of the countryside. John Craven is the show’s most long-standing presenter, working on the programme for more than 30 years after joining the show the following year.

Regular presenters also include Matt Baker, Anita Rani, Ellie Harrison, Tom Heap, Adam Henson. Plus, Joe Crowley, Helen Skelton, Charlotte Smith and Steve Brown also appear on the show.

Here is our weekly TV guide to Countryfile, including what’s coming up on the show and what time it airs on BBC one.

Who are the Countryfile presenters tonight?

Matt Baker, John Craven, Tom Heap and Margherita Taylor are the main presenters this week on Countryfile.

Tom Heap joins the front line in the fight against tree disease, John Craven is at Westonbirt Arboretum to discover what our future forests could look like, and Joe Crowley is busy learning how to collect and sow seeds.
